Its truly been a sad day for the world.
Southern Lesbian Family and all the love and craziness they have to offer.

Ok...after reading and reading over and over about this
Jon and Kate b/s....I just gotta let off some steam.
Let these idiots be!!! For buddha's sake...give it a rest!
Its all for the ratings....dont you get it? I dont know
how well I would be dealing with a set of twins and
a set of sextuplets either. I personally feel that
their show and putting them out there like that
is purely explotation to the highest degree.
Thats proven for the fact they live in a what...$1.1
million dollar home in Pennsylvania.
The more tabloid mags I see of this family make me
wanna throw up. Who gives a rats ass that some
lab made family is having a marital issue or that
one of their kids is getting a ass cutting on the front
porch for all the neighbors to see? Hell my mom
cut my ass on the front porch of our home for
getting my school clothes dirty....nobody called
the damn cops then!!!
Its just irritating all the things going on in the world...
that Kate and Jon and their posse of kids are the
front page of every mag in the check out line.
America needs to turn the damn TV off!!!
Ok....I have vented.....whew....I feel better.

Ok so last Thursday I awake to go to work....get ready
go outside....get in my car and drive past the parking
spot where my van USUALLY is.....and whats missing?
MY VAN!!!!! Some asshole stole my POS Dodge Grand
Caravan....who the hell does that? After giving the
Officer all the information....they said "Hopefully we
will find it". Hours later....I get a call from my Junebug
saying that the maintenance guys have found the seats
and all our personal belongings in the area behind the pool.
AAARRRGGGHH!! Putting pieces together..I remembered
pulling out of the parking lot that my neighbors motorcycle
cover was laying on the ground in the lot....this is never a
norm so I told Junebug to check with them and see if
he was driving it that morning......come to find out...its
been stolen too. So the idiot thieves took all the stuff out
of my van...to steal his $30k customized crotch rocket!!
Do you think he is worrying? Hell no his wife said it was
" a blessing to him because he was tired of making the
payments". This struck me wrong and is leading me to
believe this may have been an "inside" job. Hmmmmmm.
Saturday morning the sheriffs dept. called me and my
van has been recovered in another city. They couldnt
tell me in what condition it was in...just that it had been
recovered. Oh joy!! Now I must sit and wait for
that cities PD to process it and then I can go get it.
I am amazed at the balls these thieves had to steal my
van...unload all the stuff on the inside right there in the
parking lot and then load his bike. It has to be someone
who is from that community cause they were just too
damn comfortable with their surroundings.
On a more positive note...my baby girl is home from
Charleston. She had a great time but you can tell
she is wore out and in need of rest. I can remember
my graduation trip to the beach and the fact that I think
I slept about 10 total hours in a full week...haha.
Now we prepare for school in the fall......

Well last week was an eventful week....
Started with me getting food poisoning on Tuesday..
Oh the joys of my ass paying homage to the toliet
while my face was planted in a trash can....yay me!
Thursday was Steph's graduation. Of course we all
cried...we are so proud of our Stephycakes!
I myself was so ill that I remember bits and
pieces of the day. My 'bug took me to the ER
directly after the ceremony. Our baby was on
her way to Charleston for the week.
It was my first experience ever to not have to
wait in the ER waiting room. They took me
straight back quicker than Fred Sanford could
catch a heartattack! Bag of fluid, Zofran and
Phenergan shots later....they sent me on my
merry way. My baby took great care of
me the remainder of the weekend. It wasnt
until Sunday that I even remotely began to
feel like myself again.
Steph called me Tuesday this week to tell me
she got her license down in Charleston! Way to
go girly!! Its about damn time...ugh. We are missing
her but I know she is having a good time.
I also survived another round of lay-offs. The
powers that be must be truly watching over me
and protecting me. Hopefully the economy will
start to pick back up and we will get back on track.
All the pups are gone......all have forever homes...
I would be lying if I said we werent a lil sad.
Meiko was spayed and there will be no more pups.
It was great being able to spread love and joy to
others through our babies.
Im ready for a lil R & R personally. I think its about
time for a trip to Folly. I always find my center
there. Its like once you cross over to that island...
all your cares melt away. Yes I believe thats the
ticket!
Well I am out till next time.....peace my fellow
bloggers.

All of the puppies are gone....except my moms....
We have empty nest syndrome now.
Meiko went to vet this morning to get spayed.
Sadness prevails......
Prop 8 still in place...a**holes.
North Korea....South Korea......ugh.
Is there anything good in the news anymore?
On a funnier note...I have a story to tell....
After a quick trip to the grocery store last
week.....I realized after unloading that the
gallong of Skim Milk had turned over in the
trunk...and the lil plastic lid wasnt on there
just right. Needless to say....we had a toxic
spill. Thinking I had gotten it up....to my
surprise two days later when I got in the car
......it smelled like hot, rotten ass. Gross isnt
nearly strong enough to describe the stinch.
We had to pull the trunk carpet and clean it
and let it sit out for a week to be able to
stand it again. Thank you sweetcheeks!!
Im ready for some HOT weather and SUNSHINE!
Tell the rain to go away Mr. Weatherman.
We are craving the ocean waves and summer
sun!!!!!
We went shopping this past weekend to kick
off the Memorial Day Weekend. While in Old
Navy.....June was trying on swim trunks...and the
girls were standing with me...and I didnt hear the
entire convo...but I hear my 12 year old call her
sister a "fat fuck". Steph turns to me and says
"Mom arent you going to discipline her?". My
reply was...."How do I discipline her for that?"
Hahahahaha. I know I know..I am a bad parent.
But it was way too funny. Stacie didnt mean to
say it....(Or so she says) but it was priceless
at the time cause the store was packed full of
"goody two-shoes" and they just stared at us
like we were a bunch of purple elephants in the
middle of their american dream. I guess ya had
to be there......
BTW....got another contract cleaning on a
house....business is booming! Thanks Peter!
Oh well.....I am done ranting for the day.
Till next time.....peace.

Ugh the perils of moving!!! Eventhough my Junebug and
I are "healthy" girls (to say the least)...we must start reminding
ourselves that we are not men. We moved the majority of
our stuff ourselves with help from my sister and the girls.
We did wayyyy to much lifting and carrying. June suffered
a pinched nerve in her neck..and I know have a terrible case
of sciatica. Good times people!! When I lift my legs it feels like
Zeus is shooting a lightening rod outta my ass down the backs
of my legs. When I stand up from my chair at work...I have to
just stand there and demand my legs move in a forward motion.
Poor Junie is all crinked up and cannot look over her left shoulder.
We have rubbed each other to death with "Blue Goo" and fought
over the heating pad for the past week.....yikes.
We are also in the process of starting our own side business. We
now have two contract cleanings...yay!!! Hopefully more to
come in the near future. One is commercial and one is
residential. Its interesting to see how others live and
breath in their humble aboads. Its also amazing that you
learn people may seem one way in public...but they
way they live is totally different.
The house is unpacked with just a few odds and ends
needing placement. All the pictures are hung and
furniture in its place. Its been an interesting move,
but a good one to say the least.
BTW!!....we are grannies again. Meiko (our shihtzu) had her
litter of pups Saturday. She had 9 again!!! That is just amazing.
This is the last litter for our girl. She has had 4 litters and its
time to give that oven a rest. It takes alot out of her and we
end up having to supplement with bitches milk to help her
out. Rocco just doesnt understand why his hunny bunny
doesnt wanna pay him any attention right now...its too funny.
He just sits at her welping box and whines for her. She was so
perturbed with him yesterday for aggravating her she bit him
in the head...I had to laugh. We have 6 girls and 3 boys this time.
We usually have more boys than girls. I will post pictures soon.
Well...I must return to the life of "Cindy - the warranty analyst".
Post again soon.......

So as we move closer to our move.....Meiko's belly
is getting bigger and bigger. She should be ready
to deliver in the next 10-14 days. Yay puppies!!
I know its probably silly to get so excited over the
little things, but I cannot help myself. This will
be her last litter so we are going to enjoy it
even more this time.
We took her to the groomers on Monday and had
her prepped for labor and delivery....lol. We
have made up her welping box and are ready
and waiting. She is getting antsy and pacing alot.
We know what that means.......
We have been moving stuff little by little to our
new home. There will hardly be anything to
put in the truck on Saturday except large
furniture. The kids are excited and so are
we. The prospect of the pool and sports
complex are making the summer look
pretty darn good.
So...my baby and I watched "Marley and
Me". This movie was a major tear-jerker.
We sat on that couch and cried like blubbering
idiots......but it was a wonderful movie that
touched us both. Its about life and all the
things you think you can plan...and how life
just plans its own twists and turns. It made
us laugh alot...but in the end we balled our
eyes out. Mainly because we have both been
through the pain of having to put one of our
four legged babies down due to health and age.
Its a painful memory but helps us remember
how precious time really is. Our pets love
us unconditionally....whether we are ugly, cute,
fat, skinny, rich or poor...they continually love
us regardless of conditions.
Well...thats it for now. Hope you all have a
dry and safe Thursday.

So the packing is going along great. Thank heavens for
my Junebug. She has all the strength of Zeus and all
the good looks of Adonis.... :)
We sold everything that we wanted to get rid of.
We have consolidated and are definitely on our
way to becoming minimalists. I am so sick of
clutter and odds and ends everywhere. Making
the decision to sell off all our "treasures" was
a very rewarding event. We made some people
very happy in this horrible time of economic
strain.
Graduation is getting closer....my god I cannot
believe that she is graduating. It seems like
yesterday she was having trouble tying
her shoes. We are very proud of her. She
has accomplished alot in her 17 years of life.
Way to go Steph!!! Now we must prepare
for college life..... Oy Vay!
We got some alarming news this week. June
had her eye appt last week and was referred
to a eye specialist this week. They thought she
was having some leakage behind her retina but
come to find out she has had a "optic stroke"
.... yea....scary. I had never heard of this
and immediately started googling. The Doc
thinks this has happened within the past 4
months sometime. Its not affecting her vision
but he warned her this is a prelude to a
brain stroke. So we have been jolted into
reality that we need to take our health a
little bit more seriously.
Moving into our new place we have decided
to move no negative emotions or energy
there. I am going to do a sage cleansing
before we move any of our stuff in and then
will do it once again after moving in and
settling. My soul is gleaming with joy at
the fact that we have found ourselves back
to where we need to be. Sometimes it takes
losing something to make you see how much
you need and love it.
I had a very endearing conversation with my mom.
She and my stepdad are in the midst of a possible
foreclosure and she is devestated. I too have faced
this demon and hey...I survived. I think that people
have become so enthralled in the fact that they need
to "own" something that they lose theirselves.
I dont care whose name is on the paper...you never
truly own it. It can be snatched away from you in
a heartbeat. I told her its just material bullshit. When
you leave this earth...you cannot take it with you.
Everything we hold in our hands...that we consider
"property" we own...is only ours temporarily.
I would much rather live my life knowing I did
all the things I wanted to and really and truly
lived my life than know I owned a bunch of crap
that I have to keep paying taxes on to own.
I might be crazy but hey...thats just how I feel.
So enough of my ranting....Im off to work.

So we made up our minds. We decided not to leave
Columbia after all, but we are in the process of
moving as I type. Its exciting and scary all
in the same realm of emotions. We are
looking forward to the move though...
we need a change....a refreshing change.
Glad today I can look outside and finally
see some sunshine. Its been cold and rainy
here for the past three days. If I cannot be
home with my snugglebutt under the covers
watching a scary movie....then I need for it
to stay sunny while I work!!! :)
We have recently been discussing things
that we are looking forward to. We both
decided once Stacie gets out of high school
and into college good.....we are outta here!
Purchasing a motorhome and we will be
on our way!! Im tired of living this bullshit
dream of a car, a home and 2 1/2 kids. Who
are we trying to fool? People bust their asses
day in and day out...trying to make a dollar
and hold onto these worldy possessions and
for what???? Just to have your job jerked out
from underneath you and then you loose all
you have worked so hard to possess. To hell
with that I say!! Once our girls are stable in
their own lives.....its time for us. We want
to travel the US and just live. We have lived
the American dream.....had kids....owned homes
....owned cars.....wtf did it do for us? Not a
damn thing I tell you. Worry me into a early
shade of grey and cause J to bite off all her nails.
Its ridiculous to keep trying to have all these things
that you arent taking with you when you leave here
anyways. And what the hell do our kids care about
all this crap? They just have to pay the taxes and
bills we leave behind. People have forgotten how
to live I think. Things have become to modernized
and people are comfortable with the drama and
hate thats been created in this cold world.
No one knows what loyalty and respect mean
anymore.
I watched today as I went to get lunch....I watched
the people. No one smiles much. Maybe they
dont have anything to smile about....maybe they
are just cold and hard...or maybe they are having
a bad day. I smile at them....hoping for a glimmer
of response.....NOTHING...I get nothing. Oh well.
I long to be free of all this dread and dispare.
As long as I have my love and know my kids
are good..... whatever comes my way will be
handled accordingly. We have had our share of
heartache. Times are changing......yes indeed they
are changing for the better. Almost 10 years
together....thats quite an accomplishment for us.
Eventhough we have had our ups and downs....the
love never stopped. Things may have detoured us
from where we needed to be....but we always found
our way back.
So...life is getting to where we need it to be. We are
excited to be moving and getting out of a place where
bad memories reside. Sometimes all it takes is a
positive change to make us see....everything is
going to be just fine.

We have been spending the last few weekends outdoors.
This past weekend we went to Johns Island and
visited the Angel Oak and then onto James Island
County Park to check out the camping sites.
We were totally amazed at the dog park inside the
park at James Island. They allow you to take them
off the leash and let them run and frollock around
and play in the lake area. It was too cute to see
them all running around chasing each other and
their humans keeping eye on them like their
little kids. Our dogs will love this area I am sure.
It was very nice to be out riding with the
windows down and letting the fresh warm
air blow in. We walked on the beach at Folly
and it was amazing to see people out sunning
in the suits and the kids in the water. That
water was still freezing but I can remember
being a child and the anticipation of getting
into the ocean..its like it never phases you.
We watched the guys on their surfboards
being pulled by parasails. The girls
hated to have to come home...to tell
the truth...so did we.
We looked at areas possibly to move to.
I like James Island and think if we are goin
to do it...thats where it should be. June likes
North Charleston and I like that area too.
We will just have to see......we are also
looking at possibilites out of state also.
I dont know what to think about our baby
graduating in just couple of months. I cant
believe my baby is all grown up. She is
pondering several things...she was set on
going to Newberry and their wonderful
forensics program...but something has
changed in her and she is considering
going into the service. I particularly dont
approve of this due to the fact that she
wont be able to live her life out loud
and she will be serving a country that
makes her keep herself hidden....
"dont ask ....dont tell". Hogwash!!
Whatever she chooses to do we will
support her 100% but I still dont like
it. With her being undecided about
which career path to take I dont want
her to be too hasty and choose the
wrong one...so she may need some time
off to consider all options. Wow...our
little girl is all grown.....amazing.
We are totally enjoying this wonderful
weather lately. Its time to get the camping
stuff out and make our way to the woods.
June took the stuff out of the attic yesterday
for us to start our yearly inspections and
figure out what me may need new for
this seasons outtings. We are excited!!
Well...thats all for today....will post again
soon....meanwhile...enjoy this weather
yourself!!

Finally feeling like I am getting over this god awful
bronchitis. I have coughed and hacked so much
till I have thrown my back out I believe.
Damn asthma.... it never fails everytime
I get some type of chest cold it takes over.
After my Junebug hauled my behind to the
doctor Thursday they put me on a regimen
of Avelox and Prednisone. Needless
to say the steriods make you feel like you
could put your head thru a plate glass
window but they help. Whatever it is..its
contagious cause the babies have gotten it
and June is fighting it off with her
superpowers... haha
Sunday we spontaneously got up and went to
Folly Beach for the day. We walked all the
way down to Morris Island Lighthouse.
It was very relaxing and peaceful. Whenever
we go there it feels like home. We are
planning a camping trip as soon as the weather
permits and warms a little at night. One thing
that was so disturbing during our outing is
all the homes for sale on the island. Its just
proof of the dying economy and the strain on
America. We noted a couple of places and
took down numbers of some possible vacation
spots to rent. It was very refreshing to walk
with my babies and my sunshine and just not
worry about nothing.....except Stacie falling
down over the rocks....lol She is so very
accident prone. God Help US!!!
We will most likely have puppies in
approximately 60 days. Yay!! I am
so excited. We enjoy raising those babies from
birth till they take their place with their new
forever homes. Yes....yes things seem to be
getting back to the way life is suppose to be.
How easy it is to loose sight
of whats most important to you. Life is
about mistakes, choices, ideas, chaos, love,
hate, anger and all the other emotions.
Thats what makes it so worth living.
There is too much beauty in this world not
to live it to the best of your ability. It takes
me back to a movie we recently revisited....
"Into the Wild". We love that movie because
Christopher McCandless didnt want to fall
prey to all his parents lies and deceptions
of the world. He wanted to see it for himself
and not answer to anyone but himself. In
the end he realized though that happiness
is not worth anything if you are not sharing
it with someone. I am happy to be sharing
mine with three wonderful people.
I must say...things have been made right.
Valentines Day was the start of it all. I
took my love to our favorite restaurant...
where last Valentines Day got disrupted.
We have started over...and starting over
feels good and it feels right. I dont want
to be with anyone else but her. Regardless
of all the crazy stuff we have been through....
I love her with every ounce of my being
and I know she loves me just the same. I
thank the stars and heavens that they
kept their hands in this and have always
lead us back to each other. She is my
sunshine and I am her Queen. Its how it is...
its how its always been.
Some try to understand and pick it apart
but you cant. Until you have truly
experienced the love like we have you cant
understand it. People move between each
other like changing of their clothing on a
daily basis. Using people for what they
need and then discarding them for the
vultures to pick over....they pretend to
understand. I hope and pray that one
day everyone will get to feel as loved
as I do and feel what its like to love
someone so much you would go to any
links to keep it. No ones perfect...no one
has all the answers, but we are learning
as we go.
Love looks good on us......

So its way past time to update on life.
Lots of things have transpired in the last three
months. I can truthfully say that the last quarter
of 2008 was the worst ever. Between the personal
and the financial issues they just about broke me.
After spending the worst Christmas ever alone and
basically the same thing for New Years, it gave me
lots of time to reflect on the past. The past is a
funny thing....its something that we learn from but
its also something that can come to haunt us.
Ghost from the past can rear their ugly heads and
make a fool of us. Sometimes we just sit back and
allow these things to happen...and sometimes we
fight back. After so much disrespect and hurt you
start to become numb to it all. I am not that kind
of person. What happened the end of last and all
of last year to be exact....is the PAST. It is done
and over with and it will NOT control or affect
any of us anylonger. We have become focused on
the present.....the future.
We will no longer be a part of the crazy, drama
infused lives of yesterday. We have re-bonded
and become a force to be reckoned with. With each
passing event we seem to grow stronger and
tighter. She and I have decided that there is
no one and nothing that will cause us to take
our love for granted. We WILL NOT take our
eyes off each other. I truly believe that we
are soulmates....we are each ones true
one and only. Anger and hurt can cause people
to say and do things that are really out
of character. I will never be able to apologize
enough for all the hurt I caused. I am ashamed
of myself. I have a wonderful woman that
is very forgiving. I have forgiven her for all
the hurt also....isnt that what love is all about?
I am finding myself feeling and being different.
I am learning to not be so angry...anger is a wasted
emotion. I spent almost all of last year being
angry. I will not allow myself to get to that
point anylonger.
Spring is on its way and we couldnt be more excited.
Planting flowers and yard work are always wonderful
therapy for us. I personally dislike the winter months.
I can appreciate the season that allows the old to die
off and the new to bloom again just another season
away. We always go to the flower extravaganza
they have at the state farmers market to buy
our flowers for the spring plant.
Steph is getting closer to graduation and it does
me proud that she has turned into such a great
little adult. She has a great life ahead of her
and hopefully with a good head on her shoulders
she will conquer the world. Stacie is still the
Princess and becoming more grown by the minute.
I am proud of my girls. They are great kids.
Well.....thats just a lil tidbit of update.
I will write again soon.
